NOTE TO COPYRIGHT HOLDERS
L'hommage: Nina Simone wishes to respect the rights of ALL artists; if you are a copyright holder of one of the images, video or text on L'hommage and would like your work removed from the site please contact us right away at webmaster@high-priestess.com and your request will be immediately fulfilled.

Please consider that in an attempt to create the most inclusive,
extraordinary archival tribute to the late Dr. Simone your work was presented as a means to honor and respect both her and yourself. Permission to post images, video and text was sought from artists whenever possible but when little or no contact information is available for the artist, L'hommage takes the liberty of still giving that artwork an outlet here on the site for Dr. Simone's fans to experience.

We realize some artists do not wish to utilize this outlet or simply do not want their work displayed on
L'hommage and we will, of course, remove their work immediately upon contact by the artist or one of their representatives.

An alternative for removal of your work would be for us to credit you alongside your work and provide our visitors with your information and link, when possible, to your website. This helps to create a dynamic relationship whereby
L'hommage can help you gain even more exposure in return for allowing us to display your artwork. This also serves to nuture and strengthen the bonds between those who create art and those who seek it out.

Our thinking at
L'hommage: Nina Simone is that if you have taken pictures of Dr. Simone, produced works of art in her honor or have written about her then you are obviously a fan. Dr. Simone has received very little attention from the public-eye for many years which has made work like yours even more rare and significant. We at L'hommage take your work very, very seriously and wish only to provide others the opportunity to enjoy it.

With your permission, we can make
L'hommage a truly wonderful place dedicated to continuing the legacy of one of our most important and worthy musicians.
